Terms of Use

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to this career-reference site and the occupation information, comparison tools, links, graphics, and other materials made available through it. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Reference purpose

The site organizes occupational source data and explanatory material to support exploration and comparison. It does not recruit for employers, place users in jobs, provide individualized career counseling, certify qualifications, or promise that a particular education or experience path will lead to employment.

Occupation profiles describe broad roles and reported data. Duties, titles, preparation, licensing, workplace conditions, and employer expectations can differ by industry, location, organization, and seniority. You remain responsible for checking current requirements with employers, schools, licensing bodies, government sources, or qualified advisers before acting.

Permitted use

You may use the site for lawful personal, educational, editorial, and internal research purposes. You may link to public pages and quote limited portions with appropriate context and attribution. Any reuse of third-party data, logos, or trademarks remains subject to the rights and terms of the relevant owner.

You must not interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, introduce malicious code, overload the service, evade access controls, misrepresent the origin of content, remove notices, impersonate another person, collect personal information unlawfully, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Automated access

Reasonable indexing by ordinary search engines is permitted. High-volume scraping, automated extraction, or repeated requests that degrade service may be limited or blocked. Permission to access a page does not grant ownership of its compilation, editorial presentation, branding, or third-party materials.

Intellectual property and sources

The site’s original selection, organization, explanatory writing, layout, and code are protected to the extent allowed by law. Occupational facts and government or third-party source materials may have separate public-domain, license, attribution, or trademark conditions. Source identification is provided to distinguish those materials from original site content.

Availability and changes

The site may add, revise, suspend, or remove content and features without guaranteeing continuous availability. Data can be delayed, incomplete, or corrected after publication. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or protection of the service.

Disclaimers and limitation

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that content is complete, current, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular decision. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the site operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or reliance-based loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the site or a third-party link. These limitations are applied only as far as applicable law allows.

Contact and updates

Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected]. The terms may be updated as the site changes. Continued use after an updated version is posted means the new terms govern future use, subject to applicable law.
